JUNE MEETING TOPIC: A PRESENTATION FROM BOULDER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT CANINE (K-9) UNIT

At our June Meeting, Deputy Kelly Boden will speak about the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department’s current K9 unit, the history of the unit and why the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department uses K9s in police work. 

You will learn about the different jobs a K9 does for the Boulder County Department. Kelly will also talk about the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department’s nonprofit, the Friends of Boulder County K9 Association, and the need for funding K9 partners into retirement.

The presentation will wrap up with K9 demonstrations by handler Deputy Kelly Boden and her K9 partner, Halo, and handler Deputy Jason Ryan and his K9 partner, Buster.

June Business Partner Educational Workshop

BUSINESS PARTNER EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP PRESENTED BY:MICROSOFT TEAMS - THE MADNESS CONTINUES!

Jack Kim, O365 Technical Architect, Long View Systems

Long View will be discussing Microsoft’s new RIM-related tools for the Microsoft Teams environment and how they can help the RIM professionals manage legal liability. Long View will provide an overview of Microsoft’s newly refreshed eDiscovery and will dig into Custodian Intelligence & Communication, Working Sets, and Native Review & Annotation. Long View will also cover what’s new with the Compliance Manager and Policy Advisor. If time allows, Long View will cover record locking on Teams, Channels, Chats, Files, and Calls.

The winner of this award receives a plaque/award from the Chapter and reimbursement cost* for one of the following activities: 

  • ARMA International Live registration fee for the next conference
  • ARMA International and Chapter membership dues plus registration fees for upcoming chapter year monthly educational sessions; half-day workshops and the Spring Seminar
  • CRM testing fees (one sitting for each part of the CRM exam)
  • IGP testing fee (one-time reimbursement).
