Transitioning effectively into the Electronic Records space is a great challenge with great potential benefits. The exponential growth of electronic data, the fact that so much business is conducted electronically and the increasing focus on privacy and information security, among other things, make it important to take a strategic as well as a tactical approach to this transition. Information Governance (IG), Records and Information Management (RIM), Privacy, Information Security and Information Technology best practices must be applied as well as Legal and regulatory requirements. And....All of this must happen  within business and information technology landscapes that are constantly changing.

Susan Goodman, MLS, IGP, CRM, CIPP, CIP, FAI, CEO of Infoflo Consulting LLC based in Denver, CO, is a highly credentialed and experienced Information Governance (IG), Records Management (RM/RIM), and Privacy consultant, thought leader, presenter, and author. During her over 25 years of experience, Susan has successfully strategized, built, led and managed programs for large, complex, global companies as well as mid-sized organizations, both in-house and as a consultant in a wide variety of sectors and industries (e.g., Financial Services, State and Local Government, Utilities, Manufacturing, Pharma, Legal Services, Media and Not-for-Profit).
