Jill Longshore and Kayla Robinson, members of Mile-High Denver Chapter of ARMA, will share how they have solved Records Management issues by developing tools for their organization. Specifically, they developed a searchable retention schedule and box inventory using Salesforce. They also discuss a Legal Hold Notification tool they developed.

"We hope that other RM professionals will be inspired by our solutions and practical approach to RM challenges," said Longshore.

In this session you will learn:

  • How to use what you have in order to meet RM objectives
  • For an organization to adhere to RM requirements, it is critical that they have easy to access information
  • It can be cost effective to use the technology your organization has to create your own RM applications and tools
  • If you have clearly defined processes, it can be easy to translate the requirements to a home-grown application/tool

This meeting is pre approved for one (1) IGP Information Management CEU.
